Unfortunately, women are the targets of violence by 9 to 1 margin over men. This is just a fact. That's not meant to make anybody paranoid but rather give women an opportunity to prepare and be proactive in their lives.
If they know that at some point in their life they could be attacked then they can take some preemptive steps to avoid it or be ready for it.
The first thing I recommend is that women take a course in self defense techniques. You can get several self defense training DVDs to teach you the basics. You can learn in your home with or without someone. Once you learn them, then you should practice them on a regular basis so that you hone this skill you just acquired.
The second thing I recommend for women is that they get a self defense product. You know items like pepper sprays, stun guns and tasers have been utilized by law enforcement agencies for decades. Why is that? Is it because they are effective deterrent to crime? HMMMMM!
There are thousands of self defense items on the market today. Many of them are geared towards women. So how do you know which is the best one?
Pepper sprays, defensive sprays and OC sprays are all the same thing and are the most widely used self defense product in the world for a reason. They work!
The pepper gun uses "bag in a can" technology and a new delivery system that uses replaceable cartridges that have enough OC spray for seven, 25 foot shots enough to handle multiple attackers or as many of my customers are finding out-defense against dog attacks.
When are you getting one?
If you think crime can only happen to the other guy you are wrong. The "other guy" is thinking the same thing and to him you are that "other guy". There is a reason why they call it self defense. You have to protect yourself, your family, your home and business!!
Chances are if you are reading this that crime has touched your life in some way or you consider yourself at risk. Take the next step and do something to protect yourself! Your life and safety is worth far more than the cost of self defense item.
If you are in the market for a self defense product look for quality, effectiveness, and a biggie-LEGALITY. Stun guns are not legal in some states. Pepper sprays have restrictions in some jurisdictions. Check with your local police department first before you get one.
