Thighs are major problem area for a lot of women. It seems it is impossible to tone these down and get slim sexy thighs, but be thou comforted, for it is not impossible.

However, it will take some discipline and time. Toning thighs is one of the hardest parts of the body to work, and many people who are trying to tighten their legs do not know the proper way to go about doing it.

Instead of doing hours of jogging and squat after squat, you need to start doing HIIT and some core muscle exercises. HIIT (high intensity interval training) is how you are going to burn that grease from your bones, and core muscle exercises are going to tighten muscles and tone your body.

When you jog you are burning a great deal of fat burning, but as soon as your stop your body starts to put more fat into the reserve for the next workout. This is going to impede on development so instead of going jogging for an hour run for about eight minutes.

Do sprints for two minutes, just give it all you have got, take a rest and then do it again. This will stimulate hormones that will burn fat for up to forty eight hours after your work out.

This is the key to weight loss and burning fat, and it is how all the professional trainers get their famous actors in shape for movie roles where they have to have their shirt off. The other thing about thighs is they can very easily develop some good muscle.

Though muscle is good, having a lot of it can still be unattractive. So what do you do?

Core exercises, these are going to tighten and tone your muscles and pull them inward and shrink them, rather than bulk them. Doing squats is still a good idea, but if you do not want to build any muscle you should stop squatting as soon as you start to feel a burn in your legs.

The point of burn is where the muscle starts to rip and tear, and this is when our bodies start to build new bigger muscles to replace the old muscle. If you want to shrink them, you have to work them to near point of burn, without actually tearing them.

So do not work till burn, unless you are doing HIIT, and start doing some good core strengthening routines. Exercising with Pilates, yoga, and Zumba are all good ideas for tightening your body.

Also remember to eat a lot of healthy greens. When you are trying to burn fat, you want to eat foods that have very low fat content-go figure huh.
